A comprehensive one-hour stress management class designed to equip you with practical techniques for reducing stress in your daily life. This course offers a blend of theoretical knowledge and hands-on practice, covering the fundamentals of stress and its effects on both body and mind. You'll learn and experience a variety of stress-reduction methods, including effective breathing techniques to calm your nervous system, gentle movements to release physical tension, Emotional Freedom Technique (tapping) for anxiety relief, and a guided meditation to cultivate mindfulness. By the end of this session, you'll have a toolkit of strategies to manage stress, improve your well-being, and enhance your overall quality of life. Whether you're dealing with work-related stress, personal challenges, or simply looking to improve your stress management skills, this class offers valuable insights and techniques for everyone.
Facilitator Bio:
Kaita Bliffert is a seasoned massage therapist with a comprehensive background in holistic wellness practices. Her expertise extends beyond bodywork into the realms of yoga, meditation, and coaching. As a committed advocate for mindfulness and community well-being, Kaita co-founded two significant Milwaukee-based initiatives: Meditate Milwaukee and Kirtan Fest Milwaukee.
Kaita's expertise is deeply enriched by her frequent travels to India, the birthplace of many ancient stress-reduction techniques. These journeys allow her to continually deepen her understanding and practice of traditional methods.
A multifaceted practitioner, Kaita is also a mantra musician, blending her passion for sound and spirituality. With years of dedicated meditation practice, she has cultivated the skills to guide others on their journey to inner peace and self-discovery.
With her unique blend of bodywork expertise and mind-calming techniques, Kaita equips her students with practical, effective tools for managing stress in their daily lives.
